    What to expect:
    Your guide will pick up you from your hotel or Beijing accommodation in the morning.
    You will be guided by our knowledgeable English tour guide who knows the city very well.
    Visit the temple of heaven in the morning which is the best way to see local life. Thousands of people come to the park exercise in the morning. Even with so many tourists, you still can get a lot of places which is crowd free. Enjoy the Forbidden city which was the home for 25 emperors for the last 600 Years.

    1. THIS TOUR IS DONE BY SUBWAY AND FOOT. Subway costs will be roughly 15 CNY P.P
    2. Lunch is not included in the package. We often stop at Qianmen Street. Don't worry there will be many food options for you.
    3. This tour can’t be done on Monday, since the Forbidden City and the museum is not open.
    4. There are some places you may like to visit, but it will have extra Charge.

  • In the morning, your guide who will contact you for the exact pick-up time the day before your departure date will be waiting for you at your hotel lobby.

    Your guide will lead you to the temple of heaven. (We usually use subway which is easy and fast, but you can choose taxi or other transportation according to your preference)

    Temple of Heaven where the Emperors prayed for peace and harvest is located in the southern part of Beijing, and had been one of the most holy places for the whole country for more than five centuries. It used as a complex of sacrificial buildings for the Ming and Qing emperors. Highlights: See the locals do Morning exercise in the open park. (Taiji, Out door Karaoke, Play cards, dancing, wedding market if you are on time)

    After the temple of heaven, you will take the bus to the Tiananmen Square. On the way to Tiananmen Square, you will walk though a old business street - Qianmen Street.

    You'll visit the famous Tiananmen Square which is the largest public square in the world where you can take photos in front of the famous Chairman Mao's portrait hang on the red wall of the Heavenly Peace Gate. Your tour guide will introduce the history and some interesting stories about Tiananmen Square.

    Later you'll go through the middle gate of Tiananmen Square where you'll see a huge red gate that is the Forbidden City also the highlights of today. The Forbidden City was the Chinese majestic imperial palace from the mid of the Ming Dynasty to the ending of the Qing Dynasty. Forbidden City is situated in the midst of Beijing city. It is the palace of the Emperor for nearly five hundred years, also as the ceremony and policy-making heart of Chinese authorities. The Forbidden City is rectangular in build. It is 960 meters long and 750 meters wide. It holds 9900 rooms with a amount roof area 150000 square meter. It was built Under Ming Emperor, construction set out in 1406. It took fourteen yrs to construct the Forbidden City. The red and yellow applied upon the palace surrounds and roofs are as well symbolical. Red symbolizes happiness, good luck and wealthiest. Yellow represents the color from the earth on the Loess Plateau, the primary home base of the Chinese citizen.

    The tour will finish at the north gate of the Forbidden City. Your guide will help you to find the way to the next place.
